Field Representative Jeff Briese
Specializing in diagnostic work makes Jeff Briese one of Saputo's on staff experts. With his diagnostic work Jeff has assisted other field representatives and their patrons to help solve problems.
Jeff has helped many of Saputo's dairy producers save milking time. In one instance Jeff recalls saving the farmer 45 minutes in milking time. After evaluating the dairy operation, Jeff noticed the regulator was in the wrong place. That one change saved the farm critical time.
When doing diagnostic work, Jeff simulates a milker falling off and if the vacuum in the milking system drops to far it is the regulator location, plumbing or a weak vacuum pump. To determine which it is, he checks the vacuum pump capacity a couple of different ways. The measurements tell him what needs attention.
Jeff Briese covers farms in Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Waushara, Winnebago, and Sheboygan counties.
Jeff has been involved in the dairy industry all of his life. He was raised on a dairy and farmed with his brother milking 60 cows. Jeff has been serving the needs of dairy producers since 1987.
Jeff continues his involvement in dairy industry organizations as a Director of the Winnebago County Holstein Association.
He and his wife Linda have 3 children. In his spare time he farms and does wood working projects with his kids.
